Bedford teens 11 and up- sign up today for the Teen Summer Reading Program! Sign up online or in person, then stop by the library and pick up your reading log. After you complete 2 hours of reading time, bring your reading log to the library and receive a raffle ticket to enter into the weekly drawing. Every 2 hours read will also earn you a puzzle piece to add to our community puzzle. Raffle winners are selected every Friday through August 9th, and will choose from a variety of gift cards.
This summer, we challenge you to read for 24 hours! (Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be all at once and listening to audiobooks counts, too). If you achieve this goal, you’ll receive a gift certificate to Inside Scoop. Sign up online or at the circulation desk to receive your Take Time to Read bookmark, which you will use to track your reading or listening time. Every time you read or listen for 2 hours, you will also have the chance to add a piece our community puzzle. Readers or listen who read for more than 24 hours and/or write a book review will have a chance to enter the grand prize raffles for gift cards to The Copper Door, Purple Finch, or Trader Joe's. Please note that you must have a Bedford Public Library card in order to participate.
Are you ready to blast off with reading? The 2019 Children's Summer Reading Program, Summer Space Mission will kick off on Saturday, June 22nd here at the Bedford Library with a lively performance from Toe Jam Puppet Band! Join us at the gazebo behind the library to sign up and enjoy the performance!
