Cinema Sunday: The Magnificent Seven

The Magnificent Seven at Cinema Sunday

Join us for Cinema Sunday!  We’ll explore classic movies with a short presentation, followed by a viewing on the big screen in the McAllaster Room and time for discussion after the film.

In November, we'll be watching The Magnificent Seven (1960). A re-imagining of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai transferred to the American West, the film tells the story of a group of gunfighters hired by peasants to liberate their village from oppressive bandits against impossible odds.  The film features an all-star cast including Steve McQueen, Yul Brenner, Charles Bronson, Eli Wallach, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn.

Not rated. (Approved.) Run time: 2h 8m
