Join us for Cinema Sunday! We’ll explore classic movies with a short presentation, followed by a viewing on the big screen in the McAllaster Room and time for discussion after the film.
In November, we'll be watching The Magnificent Seven (1960). A re-imagining of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai transferred to the American West, the film tells the story of a group of gunfighters hired by peasants to liberate their village from oppressive bandits against impossible odds. The film features an all-star cast including Steve McQueen, Yul Brenner, Charles Bronson, Eli Wallach, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn.
