Annual Leen Lecture with Dr. Jordana Pomeroy

Dr Jordana Pomeroy form the Currier Museum at the 2025 Leen Lecture

The Bedford Library Foundation is pleased to host Dr. Jordana Pomeroy, Director and CEO at the Currier Museum of Art for this spring's Leen Lecture, 100 Years New: The Currier Museum of Art.

Dr. Pomeroy received her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and holds a Ph.D. in art history from Columbia University. Her forthcoming book, a biography for YA readers on the 18th-century painter Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun, will be published in July 2025 by Getty Publications.

In 2002, a memorial fund was established by Todd Leen in honor of the memory of his deceased brother Russell. Russell Ian Leen had been a dedicated user of the Bedford Library, both as a community library and cultural center. Todd endowed a fund at the NH Charitable Foundation to provide for a yearly lecture at the Library.

Due to limited space in the room, registration is required for attendance.  Please visit our online calendar to sign up.
